While A40Y-16I is to be used as over-pressure protection device in equipment and pipelines of air of petroleum gas with operation temperature no higher than 450â„ƒ. When the pressure in equipment or pipeline exceeds allowed value, the safety valve will be opened auto-magically and fully discharge, then it is closed again when the pressure is reduced to the regulated value so as to ensure the safe operation of the equipment or pipeline.
